Properties and applications of Natural Rubber

Natural Rubber is a kind of natural polymer compound with polyisoprene as the main component, the molecular formula is (C5H8)n, and 91% to 94% of its composition is rubber hydrocarbon (polyisoprene), and the rest is non-rubber substances such as protein, fatty acid, ash, sugar and so on.
Standard rubber refers to rubber graded by mechanical impurities, plasticity retention rate, plasticity initial value, nitrogen content, ash content, ash content, color index and other physical and chemical performance indicators. As natural rubber is non-polar rubber, only some polar solvents, and in non-polar solvents are dissolved, therefore, its oil resistance and solvent resistance is very poor, in general, hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons, carbon disulfide, ether, high-level ketones and high-level fatty acids on the natural rubber are soluble, but its solubility is affected by the degree of plasticizing, and low-level ketones, low-level esters and alcohols on the natural rubber is a non-solvent.
Transportation and storage of natural rubber
Ships and cabins loaded with rubber should be clean and dry, with pipe systems in the cabin, smooth sewage drains and tight cabin covers.
When loading the ship, rubber should be separated from the metal part of the cabin with cushions, and the materials in the cabin should be clean, dry and intact without any broken phenomenon.
