Niacinamide: Nicotinamide belongs to the pyridine Intermediates of Pharmaceutical Intermediates. It is a compound containing a pyridine ring and an amide group. It is a form of vitamin B3 and is widely used in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.
Nicotinamide, also known as nicotinamide, is an amide compound of nicotinic acid. White crystalline powder; odorless or almost odorless, bitter taste; slightly hygroscopic. Soluble in water or ethanol, soluble in glycerol. It is used clinically to combat pellagra, stomatitis, lingual inflammation, sick sinus node syndrome, and atrioventricular block.
Main sources of niacinamide
It is found in nature mainly in the outer skin of cereals, yeast, peanuts, meat, animal organ offal, milk and green leafy vegetables. It can be synthesized from tryptophan in the body, but with very low efficiency. Niacin can be synthesized by Escherichia coli (Escherichiacoli) and others in the intestines, and then converted to nicotinamide.
Production methods of nicotinamide
