Aniline, also known as aminobenzene, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C6H7N, a colorless oily liquid that decomposes when heated to 370°C. It is slightly soluble in water, and easily soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether.
Aniline is one of the most important amines. It is mainly used in the manufacture of dyestuffs, drugs and resins, and can also be used as a rubber vulcanization accelerator and so on. It can also be used as a black dye itself. Its derivative methyl orange can be used as an indicator for acid-base titration.

Uses of Aniline
