Polypropylene Fiber, also known as polypropylene, polypropylene fiber with propylene polymerization technology made of isotactic polypropylene as raw materials, after a special process made of synthetic fibers.
The main advantages of Polypropylene Fiber are:
(1)Polypropylene Fiber has high strength, good elasticity, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant:Polypropylene Fiber has high strength (the same strength in dry/wet state), the strength can reach the strength of polyester, used to do fishing nets, cable material is very suitable; wear-resistant and good elasticity, the rebound rate can be comparable to nylon, than polyester but also a lot of polypropylene fibers have poor stability, so polypropylene fabrics are prone to pilling and deformation; resistance to chemical drugs is far more than other fibers, and anti-microbial resistance, not easy to insect moths. It is easy to be moth-eaten.
(2)Polypropylene Fiber has good insulation and warmth:Polypropylene Fibers have poor thermal conductivity and much higher electrical resistivity than normal fibers. Other chemical fibers have the best warmth and insulation compared to Polypropylene Fibers.
