Product Uses: Rubber or plastic antioxidant. Mainly used in butylbenzene, chloroprene, chlorosulphonated Polyethylene and other synthetic rubber, can prevent cracking of rubber caused by sunlight and ozone, and improve the heat resistance of chloroprene rubber and chlorosulphonated polyethylene. It is used as light stabiliser and anti-ozone agent for polymer materials in plastics industry. It is used in polypropylene fibre, film and narrow tape with excellent light stabilizing effect, but it makes the products with yellowish green. The general dosage is 0.3~0.5%.
Used as a co-promoter in most sulphur vulcanised elastomers. Provides effective ozone resistance in dynamic applications and good antioxidant properties in general applications. NDBC is an effective anti-odourant in SBR, BR, CR and IIR compounds where paraffinic film rupture occurs resulting in no protection in dynamic applications.NDBC provides anti-oxidant protection in CR, CSM, CO, ECO and EPDM. It can also be used in EPDM and CSM vulcanisates where low heat resistance is required and in coloured CR products to improve sunlight resistance.
