Zinc Benzenesulfinate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula C6H5SO3Zn, it is a white crystalline powder, soluble in water and organic solvents.
Zinc benzenesulfinate is commonly used as a catalyst in organic synthesis, especially for the oxidation of aromatic hydrocarbons with high catalytic activity. It is also used as an Additive in the dye industry, dye labelling and electronics.
Zinc benzenesulfinate can be prepared by reacting benzenesulfonic acid with zinc oxide under appropriate conditions, after which it can be crystallised and filtered to obtain a product of high purity.

Product Properties: white powder, insoluble in water, non-toxic, specific gravity 1.52, soluble in nitric acid. Slightly soluble in chloroform, acetone, benzene and carbon tetrachloride, insoluble in petrol and ethyl acetate, decompose when meet strong alkali or strong acid solution, especially nitric acid.
Product Usage: This product is suitable for the activation of ADC raw powder of foaming agent, which can reduce the decomposition temperature of AC foaming agent, improve the activity of AC, reduce the use of AC foaming agent, activate and promote the foaming of AC, and improve the amount of gas. It can be used in rubber-plastic foam processing and heat preservation materials.
