Tetraethylthiuram Disulfide belongs to thiuram rubber vulcanisation accelerator. This kind of accelerator burns fast, the vulcanisation speed is also fast, belongs to the super-rapid vulcanisation accelerator; although the vulcanisation flatness is small, it can get the vulcanised rubber with high tensile strength, fixed elongation strength and hardness. Therefore, it can be used as the auxiliary vulcanisation accelerator or non-sulphur vulcanising agent of diene rubber, and also as the vulcanisation accelerator of low unsaturated rubber.
