Product Description

Production methods
There are more synthesis methods of Sodium Thiosulfate, such as sodium sulfite method and sulfide base method.
1、Sodium sulfite method: by the reaction of soda ash solution and sulfur dioxide gas, add caustic soda neutralisation, add sulfide base to remove impurities, filtration, and then dissolve sulfur powder in hot sodium sulfite solution for the reaction, after filtration, removal of impurities, and then filtration, add caustic soda for alkali treatment, after concentration, filtration, crystallisation, centrifugal dehydration, screening, to produce finished product of sodium thiosulfate.
2、Sulfide alkali method: use sulfide alkali evaporation residue, barium sulfide wastewater (containing sodium carbonate and sodium sulfide) prepared as raw material liquid and sulfur dioxide reaction, clarified by adding sulfur powder for heating and reaction, after evaporation, cooling crystallisation, washing, separation, screening, to produce sodium thiosulfate finished products.
3、The raw material used to make Anhydrous Sodium Thiosulfate is sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate. The pure sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate crystals are heated so that all of them are dissolved in its own water of crystallisation, and are heated and concentrated below 100℃, until a large number of anhydrous crystals are precipitated, the crystals are separated and dried below 100℃.
4、Adopting dehydration method: the crystals of sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate are indirectly heated with steam to dissolve in its own water of crystallisation, and then concentrated, centrifuged and dehydrated, dried and screened to produce finished product of anhydrous sodium thiosulfate.
5、Comprehensive method: the main components are sodium sulfide, sodium sulfite, sulfur and a small amount of sodium hydroxide. After vacuum evaporation, activated carbon decolourisation, filtration, cooling, crystallisation, centrifugal dewatering and sieving, it is the finished product.
6、Sodium sulfate neutralisation method: the main component is sodium sulfide and a small amount of sodium carbonate waste.
