(Total 0 Products)What Is Bioplastic
Bioplastics are plastics produced from renewable biomass resources such as vegetable fats and oils, corn starch, straw, wood chips, sawdust, and recycled food waste. Bioplastics can be made from agricultural by-products as well as used plastic bottles and other containers that use microorganisms. Common plastics, such as fossil fuel plastics (also known as petroleum-based polymers) are derived from oil or natural gas. Not all bioplastics are more biodegradable or biodegradable than commercial fossil fuel-derived plastics. Bioplastics are usually derived from sugar derivatives, including starch, cellulose, and lactic acid. Bioplastics are used in disposable items such as packaging, crockery, cutlery, pots, bowls and straws.
According to a report, the global bioplastics market will grow rapidly, with an expected average annual growth rate of 8%-10%, mainly due to the improvement of bioplastics technology performance, technological innovation will expand the application in the automotive, medical and electronics industries.
Bioplastics are not only environmentally friendly, but also very adaptable to the body, and are expected to be used in the production of post-operative sutures and other medical products that can be absorbed by the body.
